|Purpose: ||The purpose of this federally-funded grant program is to continue to support Lawrence and New Bedford Public Schools in ongoing efforts to strengthen their cadre of aspiring teachers by expanding the Turnaround Teacher Program. |
|Priorities: ||Bring two cohorts of aspiring teachers for school year 2012-2013 to teach in Level 3 and 4 turnaround schools in Lawrence and New Bedford. |
|Eligibility: ||Lawrence and New Bedford Public Schools are eligible. |
|Funding: ||Funding for Lawrence is available for up to $215,000. |
Funding for New Bedford is available for up to $85,000.
|Fund Use: ||Fund use must be consistent with the priorities described above and expectations outlined in the agreement between the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and Teach for America. |
