Dear ABE Program Directors,

This email is sent to direct you to the Performance Standards Reports for Community Adult Learning Centers and ABE for Incarcerated Adults that are now available in Cognos and to remind you that Continuous Improvement Plans should be sent to your Program Specialists by October 15th.

Your commitment to continuously improving your programs is reflected in the FY 08 performance outcomes. The data reveals the following highlights:

• 62 Community Adult Learning Centers have earned a higher percentage of performance points in FY08 than they earned FY07. In particular, a number of previously underperforming programs have shown significant improvement.
• For FY08, 71 programs have earned more than half of the performance points available.
• 42 programs have consistently improved in FY06, FY 07 and FY08
• Overall performance has improved in pre/post testing and learning gains.

The FY 08 Performance Standards Reports for Community Adult Learning Centers and ABE for Incarcerated Adults are now available in the Adhoc Section in Cognos.

6. NRS EFL Completion

7. Summary Report

8. Summary Report: All Years

Please refer to the document on the ACLS website in the Performance Standards section that explains the criteria for each report. A new section has been added to the documentation that indicates inclusions and exclusions for each report.
