The Massachusetts Workplace Literacy Consortium (1994-1997) put together a terrific resource now available to programs on a below-cost recovery basis. This user-friendly guide includes chapters on workplace needs assessments, labor-management partnerships, planning and evaluation teams, and program evaluation. Edited by Harneen Chernow, Education Director of the Massachusetts AFL-CIO, and Jenny Utecht, Director of the Worker Education Program at Local 285, the Guide is concrete, practical, and well-designed.
