Steps to Add Professional Development for Staff Members
- Select the name of the staff member from the staff search list.
- Click on the "Staff PD" link on the left menu or right click on the staff name in the staff search screen and select "Staff PD"
- Click on "Add Staff PD"
The following required information needs to be entered:
Date Attended/Completed: Enter the date if it was a single session event OR enter the last date of a multi session training. Date must be in the Current Fiscal Year.
Hours Attended: Enter total hours. If hours attended is more than 8 hours, the system will show pop-up message so you can verify that you are entering the correct number of hours.
Workshop Title: Enter title.
Location Type: Select from dropdown -- Internet, Off Site, On-Site (if offered at any site at the agency).
Topics: Select the following general categories listed in the dropdown which are similar to the SABES areas. Some general topic areas have subtopics which are required. The Curriculum and Instruction area has another required area called Student Population.
