The Global Education Advisory Council
This Council advises the Board of Education on matters relating to the instruction, curriculum and assessment of global studies in Massachusetts K-12 public schools. Its work is informed by the Curriculum Frameworks and the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System as well as local, national and international trends in global education.
Council Statement
The Global Education Advisory Council to the Board of Education was formed in order to advise the Board and the Commissioner on matters relating to global education in the curricula of K-12 schools in the Commonwealth. It is comprised of educators from public and private educational institutions and others interested in global education in the Commonwealth.
