The Board of Education Advisory Councils

Technology/Engineering Advisory Council

The role of the Technology/Engineering Advisory Council is to advise the Board of Education and the Commissioner on matters pertaining to the learning standards outlined in the Science and Technology/Engineering Curriculum Framework. The emphasis is on active, hands-on exploration of products and systems, inclusive of transportation, manufacturing, bioengineering, construction, and communication. The Council membership includes a diverse representation of business, education, and community leadership in the field of technology/engineering.

Meeting Schedule:

The Technology/Engineering Advisory Council is scheduled to meet at 4:00 pm on the following dates and locations:

Tuesday, December 18 at Marlborough High School
Tuesday, January 15 at University of Massachusetts, Lowell
Friday, March 7 at Fitchburg State College
Tuesday, April 15 at Doherty High School, Worcester
Tuesday, May 13 at Minuteman Regional High School, Lexington
Tuesday, June 3 at the Museum of Science, Boston
