Inside Mathematics Website - Mathematics tasks, many with accompanying video, transcripts, and student work. Some of the materials have been aligned to the Common Core State Standards.

Mathematics Assessment Project - This project seeks to provide materials that "exemplify the CCSS in explicit down-to-earth performance terms." New York City Department of Education Common Core-Aligned Tasks - Provides a culminating performance task for a unit of study at each grade level Pre-K-8 and high school, including annotated student work and additional instructional supports.

Illustrative Mathematics Project - This project will develop, vet, and disseminate mathematical tasks intended to "illustrate the range and types of mathematical work that students will experience in a faithful implementation of the Common Core State Standards." Arizona Department of Education Mathematics Standards - The Arizona state standards incorporate the CCSS and provide tasks, examples, and explanations that unpack the content and practice standards. One of the lead writers of the CCSS reviewed the documents informally.

Hunt Institute Common Core YouTube Videos - The authors of the Common Core State Standards (both math and ELA) provide short 1-10 minute explanations of key information related to the standards. The clips can be useful for basic information and as conversation starters. The Vermont Department of Education provides a clear list of the videos with main points.

Partnership for the Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) - The assessment consortium will develop the assessments that MA will start implementing in SY14-15 (assuming the assessments are of acceptably high quality). The website currently provides some information on the design and also includes the "content framework" that will support the development of the assessment blueprint.

To Read, Reflect, and Reference

Progressions Documents for the Common Core State Standards - Described as "narrative documents describing the progression of a topic across a number of grade levels, informed both by research on children's cognitive development and by the logical structure of mathematics," there are four draft documents currently posted with more to come.
