During the 2009-2010 school year Massachusetts' 55 Commonwealth charter schools served a total of 25,231 pupils. Below you will find several links to final FY10 charter school tuition and reimbursement data. These amounts will be used by the Department of Revenue for the purpose of certifying the June 30, 2010 local aid distribution.
The data provided below reflect final full-time equivalent enrollment across the entire school year as reported by each charter school this spring.
FY10 Charter Tuition and Reimbursement, by district:
This page details each district's full-time equivalent pupils at all charter schools (Column 1); the amount of local, transportation and facilities tuition being assessed (Column 5); the amount of direct state subsidy for pupils who were in private or home-schooled settings in FY10 (Column 6); the amount the Commonwealth is reimbursing each district for increases in charter tuition (Column 12); and the amount the Commonwealth is reimbursing each district for facilities tuition (Column 13).

This page details the number of pupils at each charter school and the total dollars to be paid in tuition. Nine charter schools exceeded their projected enrollment. In accordance with statute, the enrollment used in their tuition calculations was reduced to that projected number.

FY10 CHARTER SCHOOL TUITION RATE SUMMARY:
A listing of the three rate components paid at each charter school for each sending school district. Using the MS Excel filter function the user may look at a subset of rates by charter school, by sending district, and even by rate amount.
FY10 Charter School Pupil Rosters.
Pupil rosters for each sending district and charter school, providing the underlying detail of the tuition assessments, are currently available from the secure web portal. School districts and charter schools may access and download their spreadsheet from the Charter School Claim Form drop box at gateway.edu.state.ma.us
