This Conference is only for ESE employees.Last September Governor Patrick signed Executive Order 504, an Order Regarding Security and Confidentiality of Personal Information. The Order requires all state agencies to adopt measures to avoid identity theft and confidentiality breaches regarding all of the personal information that the agencies collect and use in the normal course of business, and to conduct training for staff. Every ESE employee, including contract employees, must attend information security training to learn about the agency’s security plan. In the training session you will learn how to identify, maintain, and safeguard Department records and data that contain personal information. You will also receive additional information on ways to keep this confidential information, the workplace, and agency resources secure. The training will also give you background on ways that all Commonwealth agencies are working to protect your personal information.
