PQA: Web-Based Monitoring Training Session

The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Program Quality Assurance Services Unit (PQA) will be conducting WBMS training sessions for only those districts and charter schools who are scheduled for a CPR visit during the 2010-2011 school year and who received notification from the Department regarding their participation in Web-Based Monitoring for Special Education.

Selected districts should send a team of district staff drawn from the following recommendation of the special education director, team chairperson(s), district directory (IT) administrator, and support staff who will be responsible for conducting and inputting the self-assessment data.

Each session will be capped at 20 participants. Districts do not have to register all staff for the same session. They may register them over different sessions/locations. The trainings will begin at 9:30 A.M. and should end about 3:00 P.M.

Please note that since refreshments will not be served, a 1 hour lunch break will be provided for participants. Also note that snow dates have been scheduled just in case.
