The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), along with the Institute of Child Nutrition, developed a training series, Team UP for Nutrition Success, in an effort to improve program operations in schools by providing Food Service Directors a peer-to-peer mentoring relationship. As described by USDA, Team Up for School Nutrition Success is a unique learning experience that serves to enhance schools' food operations by providing tailored technical assistance to school nutrition programs that want to maintain a healthy environment and student meal program participation.

The objective of this workshop is to pair Food Service Directors with a mentor so that effective peer-to-peer mentoring is provided in a variety of areas. The workshop will include panel discussions of creative solutions for implementing the regulations and possibly some specific training.

This opportunity entails, attending the two day training November 29th (8am-4pm) and 30th (8am-3pm) at Framingham State University.

Registration closes on Friday October 27, 2017
