Driving Directions to Salem State University

If navigating via GPS to North Campus use 352 Lafayette Street, Salem, MA 01970

If navigating via GPS to Central Campus use 71 Loring Avenue, Salem, MA 01970

If navigating via GPS to the O'Keefe Athletic Complex use 225 Canal Street, Salem, MA 01970

If navigating to the 287 Lafayette Street building (social work and international programs), please set your GPS to the O'Keefe Athletic Complex and use 225 Canal Street, Salem, MA 01970 as your destination. Then walk up Forest Avenue (far end of the parking lot) and turn left onto Lafayette, cross using the pedestrian walkway and 287 will be on your right. There is no parking available at the 287 Lafayette Street building.

General Directions:

From Route 128 via Lowell Street Exit:
•Follow Lowell Street into downtown Peabody
•Lowell Street turns into Main Street which turns into Boston Street in Salem
•Continue straight on Boston Street until it ends
•Turn right on Essex Street
•At first set of lights, turn left onto Jackson Street
•At the end of Jackson Street, turn right on Jefferson Avenue
•Follow Jefferson Avenue to Loring Avenue
•Turn left for Central and North Campus, bear right for South Campus
•For North Campus, bear right at the next light to stay on Loring Avenue
•For O’Keefe, bear left at the next light and head down Canal Street, turn right onto Forest Avenue

From Beverly via Beverly/Salem Bridge. (Route 107)
•Take Bridge Street Bypass Road (Route 107)
•Turn left onto Washington Street
•Continue on Washington, at second traffic light (Domino’s in front of you), turn right, continue to stop sign.
•After stopping, turn left onto Margin, which becomes Jefferson Avenue
•At end of Jefferson is Loring Avenue
•For Central and North Campus, turn left and then bear right
•For South Campus turn right onto Loring Ave
•For O’Keefe, turn left and head down Canal Street, turn right onto Forest Avenue

From Peabody via North Street / Route 114
•Follow North Street into downtown Salem.
•For North Campus: ?Follow Route 114 (North Street, left on Norman, Norman turns into New Derby, turn right on Lafayette Street) to North Campus

•For Central and South Campus: ?Follow Route 114 /North Street, turn right onto Essex Street
?At third set of lights, turn left on Jefferson
?At the end of Jefferson, is Loring Avenue
?Turn left for Central and North Campus, bear right for South Campus
?For O’Keefe, turn left and head down Canal Street, turn right onto Forest Avenue
