From the east, take either route 128 or 495 to Route 2 West.
From the west, take either route 91 or 190 to Route 2 East.

Take exit 38B off of Route 2. The highway sign says "Ayer/Groton, Route 111N/110E".
Proceed north on Routes 111/110 for 2 miles from Route 2 until you reach the rotary.
Half way around the rotary is a McDonald's; immediately after that is the exit "2A West/111 East, Ayer, 1 mile, Groton 5 miles".
Take Route 2A to the center of Ayer.
From a railroad bridge overpass you will descend into the Ayer business district.
About 100 yards up from the bottom of the bridge, on the right, is Washington Street.
Look for a hospital sign (blue sign with a white "H"), with "Bookberry's" and "Temptations" being local businesses on either side of Washington Street
(At this point, you have come one mile from the rotary.)
Take a right onto Washington Street, and you will ascend a large hill.
As it starts to level off, Washington Street bends back and forth.
At the top, on the right, is the school complex with a large central parking lot.
Page/Hilltop school, serving grades K-4, is on the right.
The Page/Hilltop School office is in the "Hilltop" section.
Ayer Middle School (grades 5-8) and the Ayer High School are on the left in one continuous building.
Ayer Middle School's office is in the back left hand portion of the parking lot while the High School office is towards the front of the building, facing Washington Street.
