The Department has moved to 135 Santilli Highway in Everett. The Department's office and Licensure Welcome Center are open. The new location has free parking and is a short walk from the Wellington station on the MBTA's Orange Line.

From the North
Interstate 91 South to Exit 7. Turn left at the 2nd traffic light onto State Street; proceed for three blocks. Turn right into parking lot (between Springfield School Department and Classical Condominiums).

From the South
Take Interstate 91 North to Exit 5 (Broad St). Stay on Columbus Avenue to State Street. Turn right, proceed for three blocks. Turn right into parking lot (between Springfield School Department and Classical Condominiums).

From the East
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 6 (I-291). Exit at Dwight Street (Exit 2B), turn left. Follow Dwight to State Street (9th light). Turn left onto State Street; proceed through next traffic light; turn right into parking lot.

From the West
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 4, Interstate 91 South and follow I-91 South to Exit 7. Turn left at the 2nd traffic light onto State Street; proceed for three blocks.

Parking: Free off-street parking is available in the State Street parking lot across the street from the library and next to the Springfield School Department building. Handicapped parking at the Central Library is available in the small lot between the Smith Art Museum and the Science Museum (enter via the driveway to the right of the library, next to the Cathedral).
