SketchUp COVID-19 Update

In order to provide uninterrupted SketchUp access to the unprecedented numbers of students and teachers now working/studying from home, Trimble has implemented some temporary changes to the way students can access SketchUp.

SketchUp for Schools

For many users, transitioning to our web app, SketchUp for Schools, will be the easiest way to continue working in SketchUp during this time. SketchUp for Schools is a (free!) web-based version available through Google (G-Suite Marketplace) and Microsoft (O365) education platforms. SketchUp for Schools will be available to everyone through June 30th without the previous requirement of your school subscribing to Google Apps for Education or Microsoft Education. Students and teachers can use a personal or school email to sign in.

SketchUp Pro

Trimble realizes that SketchUp for Schools will not suit all users needs, so they will continue to offer SketchUp Pro to those who need the additional features for their curriculum.
