IX. Massachusetts Service-Learning Leader Awards
The Service-Learning (SL) Advisory Council to the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education honors educators, community and higher education partners through the Annual Massachusetts Service-Learning Leader Awards. This honor recognizes outstanding teachers, CSL coordinators/curriculum directors (added in 2007), principals, superintendents, and community partners and higher education partners (both added in 2008) committed to service-learning as a teaching methodology that connects school-based curriculum with service in the community.
