Summer Institutes on Spanish Language and Culture for U.S. Teachers, Other Educational Professionals and University Professors

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain and 16 prestigious Spanish universities provide scholarships to U.S. Spanish teachers and other educational professionals for 28 Summer Institutes on Spanish Language and Culture, Methodology, Literature... These Courses have been successfully organized in the last few years and will be held at those sixteen universities in Spain for three weeks in July 2003, which in some cases can be extended for a fourth week. 24 Massachusetts teachers attended these courses in July 2002. Teachers can earn graduate credits from American universities. The deadline for applications is February 28, 2003.

For the first time 5 Universities have also organized Summer Institutes for University Professors in July 2003. Scholarships are provided too. For these courses the application deadline is March 15, 2003.
