Adult Outcomes
Acquires and applies reading skills and strategies to new situations and activities and to solve problems in everyday life.1
Increases basic English language ability/proficiency. 1
Acquires and applies writing skills and strategies to new situations and activities, to communicate and convey meaning, and to solve problems in everyday life.1
Acquires and applies numeracy skills/strategies to new situations and activities and to solve problems in everyday life. 1
Obtains a high school diploma or GED. 1
Improves employment status including: obtains or advances in employment and/or an increase in wages. 1
Enrolls in occupational training, post-secondary education or joins the military.1
Child Outcomes
Increases basic English language ability/proficiency.
Understands what is read. Uses a variety of strategies to obtain meaning from written materials.
Improves ability to read on grade level.1
Acquires reading readiness skills:
Includes listening to stories with understanding
