It is the Department's goal to work in partnership with you to ensure that all students reach higher levels of learning. As part of this ongoing effort, you may wish to request a waiver of certain state or federal regulations in order to address student's educational needs.

FY11 Waivers of Certain Federal Requirements to Districts Receiving Title I Funds

There is no longer a Request for Waiver from Special Education Regulations relating to Class Size form. Instead, school districts are now required to NOTIFY the Department of an increased instructional group size. There is a Notification of Increased Instructional Group Size form (28M1) posted on the Special Education page.
