Result of Funding: This RTTT-funded competitive grant opportunity is intended to support districts committed to advancing innovative professional practices that integrate implementation of two of the state's highest priority projects: the educator evaluation system and the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. The awards will identify and promote innovative strategies that enhance educator effectiveness and increase student achievement through the integration of the new curriculum frameworks and the educator evaluation system. The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (ESE) will regard awardees of this grant as innovators in advancing professional practice. ESE will collect, document, and share promising practices developed by awardees through this grant program in order to inform and support other Massachusetts districts.
