| Purpose: The purpose of this state grant program is to enable the Workforce Development Boards to support quality teacher externships for teachers that will enable them to learn about industries in the state with skill gaps and hiring challenges, improve their instruction by linking it to current business practice and industry concerns, and offer career awareness to their students about these industries as part of an effort to support better college and career readiness for students. | |
