Grants and Other Financial Assistance Programs: FY2012

Support for District-Coordinated Redesign Planning and Improvement Implementation at Targeted Schools
Fund Code: 220-B

Purpose: The purpose of this state-funded grant program is to provide support to Brockton Public Schools in its efforts to prevent designated Level 3 schools from falling into Level 4 status.
Priorities: The priority of this grant is to fund specific redesign and improvement implementation activities that will fulfill the purpose of this funding opportunity.
Eligibility: Brockton Public Schools
Funding: A one-time amount of $100,000 has been committed to Brockton Public Schools for this initiative.
Fund Use: Funds can be used for staff stipends for redesign and improvement work, consultants, professional development and coaching costs, student programming ("ramp-up" efforts), and for supplies and materials purchases that are directly related to this grant.
