The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (ESE) leadership positions provide the opportunity to assist in facilitating school improvement processes throughout the 391 school districts, in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, to ensure that achievement gaps are prevented and/or closed and that every student receives the support and tools necessary to reach high academic standards and graduate high school prepared for college.
