Metco Program

FY2008 Supplemental Grant Allocations

September 14, 2007

The FY08 state budget included a $1 million increase in funding for the Metco program. Each receiving district is eligible for a $200 per pupil increase in the instructional allocation. Additionally, districts with transportation costs exceeding their allocation have been provided with supplemental funding. Based upon the district submissions, the remaining funding has been used to provide 40% of the overall requests for additional transportation grant money. Please see the table below with the specific amount of each line item for which each district is eligible.
