From:Mark McQuillan, Deputy Commissioner
Date:December 17, 2003

stopline

As you know the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education recently released the Massachusetts Policies for Paraprofessionals in Title I Programs Download PDF Document which outlines the NCLB requirements for instructional paraprofessionals in Title I programs including the options for meeting those requirements. In a follow-up memo the Department outlined the cut scores for the ParaPro and WorkKeys assessments and also included information about the registration process for districts and charter schools to become testing sites for the ParaPro test.

This memo seeks to outline the unique registration process for collaboratives interested in becoming ParaPro testing sites. If you have any questions, please contact the HQT help desk at or HQTHelp@doe.mass.edu.
