The Circuit Breaker claim file is a complicated workbook that local staff deals with only once a year. It is important to review and understand the mechanics of the file.
This will be an opportunity for local staff to hear the audit issues we have encountered and we'll review common in-district and out-of-district errors and how you can avoid them.
We will discuss the classification of providers on in-district claims.
We will also review the documentation requirements and provide "Best Practices" guidelines to help you organize and maintain your Circuit Breaker files.
During our Extraordinary Relief trainings, attendees asked if they were required to attend our regular trainings. Those that attended our relief training may find these trainings to be redundant.
