WIOA Regional Meetings and Registration

Dear Colleagues, As an ABE Educational Leader in Massachusetts, I invite you to provide input into aspects of the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) regulations open for public comment from April 16 through June 15. Your perspectives on the regulations will help us craft a Massachusetts response to the Departments of Labor and Education. The Departments plan to analyze the public comments and then issue final regulations in 2016. For your convenience, here are links to the Notices of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRMs) that address different aspects of the law.
  1. Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)
  2. Unified and Combined State Plans, Performance Accountability, and the One-Stop System Joint Provisions (Joint DOL/ED);
  3. Remaining Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act provisions administered by DOL;
  4. Title II Adult Education and Literacy administered by ED;
  5. Title IV Vocational Rehabilitation administered by ED; and
  6. Miscellaneous Program Changes administered by ED.
