  • Teacher Reports, including Kindergarten Teacher Reports

Schools must send Parent/Guardian Reports to the home of the student with appropriate translated materials, as described below.
Districts will receive the following printed report:
  • District Frequency Report
ACCESS results will also be posted electronically to Department's Security Portal, as follows:
  • Student roster (PDF) in DropBox Central
  • Student data file (CSV) in DropBox Central

Available Supporting Materials

Translations of Parent Guardian Reports and Letters to Parents Districts may download translations of Parent/Guardian Report "shells" and sample letters to parents in the language of the home (where available) at WIDA Download Library to accompany the Parent/Guardian Reports. Letters should be copied onto school or district letterhead, signed by the appropriate school or district official, and sent to the home of the parents with the actual Parent/Guardian Report and translated report "shell." Translations of each student's Parent/Guardian Report are also available through an optional automated online service that allows schools to print each student's actual report (i.e., with actual student results) in the home language of the student. Schools may contact MetriTech, the test contractor, at 800-747-4868 for instructions on how to log in and download individual translated versions of student reports. Interpretive Materials Information about the reports, and how each should be interpreted and used, is available by reviewing the ACCESS for ELLs Interpretive Guide for Score Reports; or by viewing the pre-recorded Massachusetts ACCESS for ELLs Reporting Webinar posted to the WIDA Download Library. To view the webinar, you will need a WIDA personal account to log in with your user name and password.

ACCESS for ELLs Results Interpretation Workshops

The Department will conduct two half-day workshops on June 4 and June 5 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on interpreting and using the WIDA ACCESS for ELLs score reports. Presenters will share information on accessing student data online, interpreting the ACCESS for ELLs reports, using ACCESS for ELLs scores, and developing a plan of action. Workshops will be limited to 250 participants, with 2 participants per district. District participants should attend the same session. These sessions are intended for district ELL program coordinators, principals, test coordinators, and/or district data analysts. Thank you for your attention to this important information. Please contact Alexis Glick at 781-338-3625 if you have questions.
