Free ESE Institute: Spreading the Word about AT and UDL: Tools and Strategies for All Students

The Institute will provide educators with an understanding of best practices in the field of Assistive technology (AT) and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), as well as practical knowledge of the provision of Accessible Instructional Materials (AIM/AEM). Working collaboratively through hands-on activities, participants will leverage the power of available technologies and resources to enable all students, especially those with disabilities, to access the curriculum and improve their learning. The participant's AT toolkit includes an iPad mini, a Chromebook, select apps, extensions, and online subscriptions. Social media tools will be used to develop an online Professional Learning Community statewide and beyond. 67.5 PDPs Two different locations: Eastern Massachusetts (E.Walpole) and Western Massachusetts (Williamstown).
