A new security role has been created for K-12 public and charter districts. The Edwin Analytics Agg. Reports role provides access to the District & School – Public tab only. The most likely users in the districts are business office staff who do not need to see student level data but would benefit from access to the finance reports.
ESE's Student Assessment group has posted the release schedule for PARCC and MCAS. As stated in the schedule, full ELA (no Transitional SGP); math and STE (grades 5 and 8) multiple choice only are available in the MCAS dropbox and Edwin Analytics as of today. This release is also posted on the Edwin Analytics Home tab where we encourage everyone to check first when verifying that a scheduled release has occurred on time.
The scheduled release for ACCESS was in June but we are still uncertain when Student Assessment will be able to provide us with this data. Please check the Home tab periodically for the release announcement.
There will be one new Postsecondary Readiness model and a new student level report for the new model in the next release of EWIS. The new model is being developed by ESE, with funding from the US Department of Education, to provide risk levels for high school students related to them meeting postsecondary outcomes. For more information on EWIS, please visit ESE's EWIS homepage.
The release of all EWIS models and reports is scheduled for August 26th. Please remember that to be included in the EWIS calculations all of your district's statewide collections (SIMS, EPIMS, SCS, and SSDR) must be completed.
If you've never noticed it before, please make note (and even make use of!) the Most Requested Edwin Analytics Reports portlet in the lower right corner of the MassEdu Gateway welcome screen. This list reflects the most popular reports run periodically by users and varies according to administrators, teachers, and other user roles. Clicking on the links will bring you right to the prompt pages of these reports.
Please be advised that there will be a power outage from 7 PM on Friday, July 15th through midnight Saturday evening. All communication with our building in Malden will be unavailable for over 24 hours; there will be no internet or phones.
