FY2019 Increases for Adult Education Update

As you may know, Governor Baker recently signed the Fiscal Year 2019 state budget, which includes $33.35 million for adult education in FY2019, a $3.72 million increase over last year, and represents a higher funding level than the basis for the original FY19-FY22 funding awards announced in May.

ACLS anticipates that the increase will fund approximately 1,500 additional seats than the number funded through the original FY2019-FY2022 award. ACLS will communicate about specific increased allocations or new award amounts for individual programs during the week of August 13.

We appreciate your patience while we work to ensure that we can equitably expand high quality services for adult students across Massachusetts with the increased funding.
