Introduction to RADAR (Resource Allocation and District Action Reports):

Resource Allocation and District Action Reports, or RADAR, is a new tool for benchmarking the way districts use their resources of staff, time, and money and is a great way to open planning and budgeting discussions, among other uses. Get an introduction to RADAR by joining a webinar from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 14. Please register online. Registered individuals will receive information about how to connect to the webinar a few days beforehand.

Picture of the Week:

Earlier this week, Commissioner Riley and DESE Food and Nutrition Programs staff joined U.S. Rep. James McGovern on a tour of Summer Food Service Program sites, including Park Avenue Elementary School in Webster, where kids had prepared an “Alice in Wonderland” tea party. State Rep. Joseph D. McKenna, Project Bread President Erin McAleer, and Webster officials, including Superintendent Ruthann Goguen and School Committee Chair David Hurton, joined the fun.
