As a complement to existing initiatives, DESE and the Executive Office of Education are partnering with the Northeastern University Network for Experiential Teaching and Learning (NeXT) to provide technology-enabled, technically-supported student work-based learning experiences (internships/capstones/co-ops). DESE is seeking educator participants from designated Innovation Pathways in Healthcare and Social Assistance and approved Chapter 74 programs in Program and Web development or ISSN, for a pilot; this pilot will run from January 15, 2021 through April 30, 2021 and will entail an asynchronous (1-credit) professional development course kick-off session and Practera training. Please join us this Friday, December 4, 2020 from 12:30 to 1:30 for a webinar to learn more about this opportunity.
