The purpose of this federally funded competitive CVTE Student Support grant is to support school districts in providing additional supports for students in Chapter 74 programs which will allow them to earn credentials or technical training hour credit that they otherwise would have had the opportunity to earn were it not for COVID-19. It is also intended to allow districts to support students to increase their exposure to hands-on technical training through a summer program since that exposure was limited due to COVID-19 restrictions.
