National Career Clusters: Call for Subject Matter Experts

The National Career Technical Education Foundation (NCTEF) has embarked upon the revision and validation process of the National Career Cluster Knowledge and Skills Statements from the national framework. Currently industry professionals from across the country are being asked to review the existing knowledge and skill statements. The final work will be released in June 2012 at the National Career Clusters Institute in Washington, DC. All states have been asked to invite subject matter experts (SME), to participate in the process by creating an online account at https://www.metacat.net/cte. The process is completely online, may take up to an hour for each cluster or pathway area reviewed and rated, and can be done over several different login sessions depending upon schedule constraints. The initial review session will close on May 20, 2011. To view a short video describing the process go to http://www.metacat.net/cte or for more information about the process go to http://www.careertech.org/show/revisions. Questions can be directed to: ccrevisions@careerclusters.org Thank you in advance for your participation and support.
