Volume discount program for schools to purchase apps

The Commonwealth's Executive Office of Education and Operational Services Division have arranged for our state's participation in a volume discount purchasing program from Apple Computer. This program offers educational institutions, including school districts and charter schools, the opportunity to purchase "apps" for iOS devices at half price when purchased in quantities of 20 or more. To purchase apps, schools and districts will need to order vouchers from Apple that can then be used to download the apps directly onto the iOS devices. Please note that although Apple permits you to purchase vouchers and then hold them for downloading at a later date, the Commonwealth's finance laws prohibit payment for goods or services that have not yet been delivered. As a result, you will need to order the vouchers and download the apps prior to payment of the invoice. Ordering will be directly through Apple under Statewide Contract ITC44.
