Adult and Community Learning Services (ACLS) has released its FY13 Adult Basic Education Open and Competitive Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for Community Adult Learning Center funding (fund codes 345, 340, 359) and Adult Career Pathway funding (fund codes 540, 541) for regions of the state where the total funding was not allocated in the last Open and Competitive RFP process. The regions eligible for funding are Berkshire County, Central Massachusetts, Hampden County, and Metro Southwest. Successful applicants will receive a multi-year grant award beginning in FY13. All grant renewals are subject to the continuance of federal authorizing legislation, future appropriations, and demonstration of satisfactory performance. Applicants are encouraged to attend the Bidders' Conferences and related SMARTT trainings to understand the requirements of the RFPs.
