Performance Based Funding - Six (6) Cents Certification Training

The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (ESE), Office for Nutrition, Health and Safety Programs has scheduled seven Performance Based Funding (Six Cents) Training Workshops for districts participating in the National School Lunch Program. This workshop is designed for the individual responsible for completing the certification spreadsheet in order to receive the additional 6 cents reimbursement. These workshops will be held at ESE's Training Center in Malden, MA. Part 1 of the workshop (9:00am-noon) will cover a step by step walk through of the online certification tool, which is required as part of the certification process. Part 2 of the workshop (1pm-4pm) will allow participants the opportunity to input their own menus for certification with assistance from ESE staff. Training Workshops are scheduled on the following dates:

Thursday, April 18, 2013

Space is limited to 10 individuals

Time: 9:00am-4:00pm
Registration will begin at 8:45am
Lunch (on your own) from 12:00pm-1:00pm

Additional Information

Since we will be working with computers, food and beverages will not be allowed in the computer center during the workshop. Temperature conditions are beyond our control. Please come prepared with a light sweater or jacket if necessary.
