FY14 SMARTT Refresher Trainings –Registration

May 21, 20113 Dear Program Directors, SABES Staff, WIA Staff, Teacher/All Staff, Local Workforce Investment Board Staff, Learn At Work Staff, ACLS will be offering four SMARTT refresher trainings the first week of June. There will be two webinars and two face-to-face trainings offered in two regions of the state. The trainings will focus on program planning for FY14, new features in SMARTT, and updates in Cognos 10.2. Areas of program planning that will be reviewed are:
  • Class Plan - generic start and end dates, linked classes, class focus
  • Class Funding Detail
  • Staff Plan - detailed and abbreviated version
  • Match Benefits
  • Prototype - review formulas
  • Administrative Cost Worksheet
SMARTT updates will include:
  • New NRS Cohort screen
  • Changes to Site Assessment reports
New features in Cognos 10.2. will include:
  • New format for federal reports, performance reports, and performance standards reports
  • Revised formula for percent attendance due to fluid slots
  • New filter for non rate based percent attendance
