The following records have been destroyed:

  • Academy of Learning--Destroyed 11/2003
    1973, Attleboro, Marlboro, Malden [Contained no student files.]

  • Andover Tractor Trailer--Destroyed 11/2003
    1990, Methuen (Complaints, correspondence, legal paperwork, press releases, bonds, etc.) [Contained no student files.]

  • Associated Technical Institute (ATI)--Destroyed 11/2003
    1994, Woburn, (Progress reports, financial aid, financials); 1970-1990 (transcripts, progress reports, financial aid)

  • Business Education Institute -- Microfiche records destroyed 8/2003

  • Computer Learning Center (CLC) Somerville and Woburn, Closed 1/22/01--Destroyed January 23, 2008. [Contained only student enrollment and financial records.] The Department continues to hold any student transcripts provided by the school, but not all student files contained transcripts; therefore, the Department may not be able to fulfill all transcript requests.

  • Hickox School of Information Technology--Destroyed

  • Katherine Gibbs--Destroyed 11/2003
    1991 - 1998, Boston [Contained no student files. Katherine Gibbs is now a degree granting institution therefore it is overseen by the Board of Higher Education, which may have some student files.]

  • Medical Careers Institute (a/k/a) Medical Education Center--Destroyed

  • St. John's School of Business, Destroyed 11/2003
    1991-1996, West Springfield, (Student applications, financial transcripts)

  • Women Technical Institute (WTI)--Destroyed 11/2003
    1990-1994, Boston, (Enrollment, financial, transcripts). The Department is retaining WTI transcripts until November 2005, when they will be destroyed. Note: Not all student files contained transcripts; therefore, the Department may not be able to fulfill all transcript requests.
