About OPR

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Office of Planning and Research to Close Proficiency Gaps (OPR) is to provide analysis, research, planning support, and tools so that ESE and the field can implement effective programs and improve educational outcomes.

Goals:

  1. Produce insightful, timely information on key policy issues and program initiatives
  2. Support ESE's strategic planning process
  3. Create innovative, cross-cutting analytical tools for ESE and the field
  4. Strengthen agency and field skills in effective use of data and evidence
