Rethinking Equity and Teaching for English Language Learners (RETELL)

Graduate Credit for the SEI Endorsement Course

The institutions listed below will award graduate credit for educators who complete a state-offered SEI endorsement course. Please contact the institution directly with any questions. The Department makes no claims regarding the relative merits of any of these or any other credit-granting institutions.

  • Grades for courses ending December 31st or earlier will be reported by the end of February
  • Grades for courses ending by February 28th will be reported by the end of April
  • Grades for courses ending by June 30th will be reported by the end of August

All applications to request graduate level credits must be completed, paid in full and submitted before the last meeting of the course.
No requests will be accepted after the course has ended!

Pass/Fail is the option for this graduate credit course.
The assumption is that participants will earn a B or better to pass the course.

The total cost for this SEI Collaborative Course is a non-refundable $150. Graduate credit is granted to those whom successfully complete and pass the course through his/her given district.

Fitchburg State University is a NEASC and NCATE accredited institution.
Course participants have until the last day of their district-based RETELL/SEI course to register for graduate credit with Fitchburg State.
