The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education will release 2008 Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) determinations for the Commonwealth's schools and districts in the fall of 2008.

This workbook contains 2008 ELA and mathematics Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) Baseline and Improvement Target data for schools and districts. Data are based on the 2007 MCAS results of students in all grades assessed in the school or district (grades 3-8 and 10), and are included for all student groups meeting minimum group size requirements in 2007. (The data do not include Early Childhood Centers or schools that opened or closed in SY2007-08.)
