Independent Education Evaluations - Updated Figures for Determining Sliding Fee Scale Participation.

The following chart provides family income figures, based on gross family income, by family size, used to determine families' eligibility for sliding fee scale consideration when requesting an Independent Education Evaluation (IEE) at public expense.

Federal Poverty Guidelines

2003 Poverty Guidelines for the 48 Contiguous States and the District of Columbia

Family Size Poverty Guideline Base Amount Equal to or less than 400% of federal poverty guidelines= full public funding of IEE Equal to or greater than 400% & Equal to or less than 500% of federal poverty guidelines = 75% public funding of IEE Equal to or greater than 500% & Equal to or less than 600% of federal poverty guidelines= 50% public funding of IEE
