2005 - 2006 NASDSE Satellite Conference Series

The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Special Education Planning and Policy Office has purchased a site license for distance learning opportunities from the National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE). The satellite conferences are available at no cost to Massachusetts school districts and educational organizations.

Does your Massachusetts school district or educational organization have the capacity to participate in a satellite conference?
The equipment required to participate in a satellite conference includes a satellite dish and receiver (C Band), TV and VCR, and a phone with speaker access. If your organization has a MCET/Mass Learning Pike installed dish, it meets the equipment requirements. If you do not have this equipment, your local cable company may be able to assist you.

Does your Massachusetts school district or educational organization want to participate in a satellite conference?
If you would like to participate in these satellite conferences, contact Karin Sandmel in the Special Education Policy and Planning Development Office (SEPP). You can reach Karin at 781-338-3375 or by email at ksandmel@doe.mass.edu.
