Notice of Public Comment on the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Annual State Application

(update of March 03, 2021 posting)

The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is soliciting public comments on the State Application for IDEA Part B funds for Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2021 — Massachusetts Fiscal Year (MFY) 2022, school year 2021-2022.

We retain the information on our website for 60 calendar days beginning March 1, 2021. We solicit and accept public comment for the first 30 calendar days of the posting. The deadline for submission of public comment is April 1, 2021*.

Comments on the proposed application may be submitted by email to specialeducation@doe.mass.edu with the subject line: IDEA Annual State Application or mailed to:
