Because each student learns differently, the state supports a variety of educational options for PK-12 students and adult learners.
These options include traditional public schools; charter, vocational/technical, and virtual schools; and other educational programs beyond your home district, such as those offered through school choice.
Families may also choose to send their child to a private or parochial school or, with prior approval of the home district, educate their child at home. A list of private and parochial schools in each town can be found in the School and District Profiles Directory. Additional information for families can be found at the Family Portal.
