As a teacher for many years, I enjoyed exciting activities that really engaged my students and made learning fun for them. I have shared some of these lessons with students in classrooms across the state.
Below are a couple of my favorite activities. They’re easy to set up and teach. Feel free to try them out with your students at school and your children at home.
Being Michelangelo (4 mins.). Considered one of the greatest artistic accomplishments in the world, Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel represents not only a creative wonder, but a tribute to human perseverance. What can we learn from this masterpiece?
Bat Lab (6 mins.). The pieces of an ecosystems are inextricably linked. How do we determine and measure the influence of our decisions on our environment?
