Cluster - Perform operations on vectors.

[PC.N-VM.B.4.c] - (+) Understand vector subtraction v – w as v + (–w), where –w is the additive inverse of w, with the same magnitude as w and pointing in the opposite direction. Represent vector subtraction graphically by connecting the tips in the appropriate order, and perform vector subtraction component-wise.

  • Additive inverses
    Two numbers whose sum is 0 are additive inverses of one another. Example: 3/4 and –3/4 are additive inverses of one another because 3/4 + (–3/4) = (–3/4) + 3/4 = 0.

    A quantity with magnitude and direction in the plane or in space, defined by an ordered pair or triple of real numbers.
