A a list of non-fiscal data collections that the Department maintains. These include student assessment data such as MCAS, ACCESS, and TIMSS as well as other data such as student discipline data and demographic information on educators.
Data tools are tools that can be used to access DESE data. They are useful for displaying the data in formats that can be manipulated, filtered, and easily interpreted.
Data resources help data users interpret and understand the data that are available from DESE and can be found by following the link above. These resources include things such as information on the Early Warning Indicator System, student growth, and the Progress and Performance Index (PPI).
The reports listed here are the result of analyses carried out by the Department, which have subsequently been made publicly accessible. For most of these reports, guidance can be found in the same place as the report itself. Go here to access statistical and per pupil expenditure reports.
